Vedanta Society Greater Houston bought a plot of land to construct a new home for Thakur Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sarada & Swami Vivekananda in Dec. 2007. It's a 1.5 acre land and is located on Lindita St, a small street off Hwy.6 between Empanada & Beechnut. We are now in the process of raising funds to construct the building. We request you to contribute generously towards this project. All donations are tax deductible.

The architectural design & the pictorial rendering of the building is done, and one can see the rendering in the present Center at the Cypress St. location. The building committee members are now in the process of getting the survey and the soil testing done and getting bids from companies that do steel structures & wood structures for the construction of the roof and the frame of the building.

After 10 or more years of operations from the Cypress Street location, in order to accommodate the expanding activities and outreach programs to spread the message of the ancient Vedanta in Houston, the Vedanta Society of Greater Houston is hoping to move to Lindita St., Houston, TX soon.
